Phil Costa is the Managing Principal and Founder of Monopoly Group Real Estate (MGRE). Before launching MGRE, he served as Vice President at a commercial real estate brokerage firm, specializing in investment sales and tenant representation. Phil is passionate about real estate and dedicated to helping his clients achieve their goals. Phil grew up in New Jersey and attended the University of Maryland, where he was a two-time All-Academic ACC selection and captain of the football team. While at Maryland, he began a Master\u2019s in Real Estate Development, which sparked a passion for real estate that continues today.<\/p>

Phil went on to play four seasons in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys, serving as the starting center for quarterback Tony Romo. Entering the league as an undrafted free agent, Phil\u2019s journey required immense grit, work ethic, and determination to earn and keep his spot on the team\u2014qualities he now applies to fiercely advocate for his real estate clients and help them achieve success.<\/p>

After football, Phil earned his MBA from Columbia University. His wife, Stephanie, is a NICU nurse who has worked at top hospitals including Tampa General and Children\u2019s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). In his free time, Phil enjoys being with his family\u2014his wife and daughter, Camille\u2014exploring the Florida beaches and staying active in the local community.<\/p>

Phil also serves on the Board of Directors of AthLife, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping current and former athletes succeed academically and professionally after their playing careers.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Originally from Long Island, NY, Tyler held a variety of hands-on jobs throughout high school and college, including mechanic, low-voltage electrician, and funeral home groundskeeper. While seemingly unrelated at the time, these roles gave him a practical understanding of how things work\u2014experience that now proves invaluable when advising industrial clients.<\/p>\n

Outside of work, Tyler is an avid wakeboarder and a regular at the local cable park. He stays active in his community through a local run club and prioritizes travel and fitness as ways to stay grounded and inspired.
